Munich Ravens 45 - 26 Frankfurt Galaxy


First German derby of the EFA season. The Frankfurt Galaxy wanted to right its wrongs from week 1. The Ravens took another scalp on the way to a championship run.

Offensive Performance - 4*


  • Tabor looked great early.

  • Garbers was very good in the short and intermediate game. Got really hot later in the game. Some really beautiful passes.

  • Galaxy's offensive line has been massively underwhelming at the start of this season. They literally can not handle a blitz.

  • Ravens sealed it off with a great dagger.


Defensive Performance - 4.25*


  • Munich's interior defensive line was causing issues.

  • Multiple missed tackles behind the line by Munich.

  • Bijion Harris Defensive TD, excellent forced fumble.

  • Galaxy REALLY defence clutched up in the 3rd and 4th.


Ref Performance - 1*


  • Ameln's touchdown call-back was tragic but a good call.

  • Back and forth flags and make-up calls at the end of the first quarter/start of the second.

  • Impossible referee call with the Raich Pick-6. I think it was a score personally.

  • 15 penalties in the first half. The first play of the second was also a flag. Several more followed, slowing the game to a crawl.

  • Nitz was guilty of a DPI.


Commentary (English) - 5*


  • Andrew Weidinger continues to be the gold standard.

  • Didn't get much of a Bijion reaction.

  • Great chemistry and a depth of European and scheme knowledge.


Big Moments/Game Drama - 4.75*


  • Bijion Harris has two kick-offs for TDs in two games...

  • Gerald's fumble issues remain.

  • A near pick 6.

  • The Galaxy really needed that Easton long touchdown.


Individual Performances - 4*


  • Tabor is exceptional.

  • Marcos Schlabitz played great.

  • Bijion with two touchdowns (1 kick return, 1 fumble recovery)

  • Easton was excellent and really was the spark plug in this offence's comeback, scoring multiple touchdowns.


Ending - 4*


  • Great comeback from the Galaxy.

  • Garbers, Easton, and the defence really brought this game back into contention.

  • Munich Ravens put the dagger in.


Overall Score - 3.85*


  • The refs really messed up this grading.

  • Was a good attempt at a comeback from the Galaxy.

  • Was at fault for a TD.

  • Touchdown on the kickoff.

  • Fumble recovery Touchdown.
