Wroclaw Panthers 22 - 14 Paris Lights

The Wroclaw Panthers are going to Paris for what should be an easy win vs the Paris Lights. In one word, MESSY.

Offensive Performance - 2*

  • I adore watching Jameson Wang play football. It looks like Juan Flores Calderon and Wang could have a good connection with more time.

  • Paris is one-half of this grade and looked very poor on every level.

  • Wroclaw went up 22-0, then decided to be awful on offence.

Defensive Performance - 2.5*

  • Good forced fumble to end the first QTR from Paris.

  • Paris really struggles with tackling.

Ref Performance - 4*

  • Kept it clean, did well on challenges, and early flags were correct.

Commentary (French) - 3.5*

  • I still don't speak French, so this was outsourced.

  • I bumped up for some of the exciting moments they called well.

Big Moments/Game Drama - 1*

  • Jameson Wang is one of the best QBs in Europe. Really outstanding player to watch.

  • The Lights' special teams sucks. Wroclaw sucks, more. Both teams muffed punts. Lights can't kick a PAT; Wroclaw fumbled a punt as well and missed a field goal... disaster.

Individual Performances - 1*

  • Jameson Wang shows for the first few weeks of the AFLE season. Apart from that, very little.

  • Soulerot hit 100, but most of it on a single run.

Ending - 2*

  • Wroclaw looked like they were trying to score before shooting themselves in the foot again.

  • At least it was a close score.

Overall Score - 2.28*

  • Really sloppy and messy second half, especially.

  • Poor specials on both sides.

Games MVP - Jameson Wang

  • Great use of his legs.

  • Did well under pressure.

  • Picked apart the Lights.

This was a truly awful game to watch, no offence.
