It's finally that time
The 2026 EFA season is only days away, so let's get the final six organised into a nice little power rankings before we kick off Friday night. Only 4 teams can make the playoffs in Frankfurt, as we know, but with everyone playing everyone home and away, tension in the league is at an all-time high.
6 - Raiders Tirol
The Raiders Tirol are in a bit of a rebuilding season. There's nothing wrong with that, but it doesn't put them in a position for a championship run. Shuan Fatah has a lot of work to do to turn this roster around and make it competitive.

Key Homegrown: Tobias Rodlauer
Key Import: Aaron Jackson
Young Star: Jakob Scheucher
Player with the most to prove: Steven Krajewski

5 - Prague Lions
Prague are back into the underdog category once again. They will be used to this, so at least they can try to defy the odds as they did in 2025. The persistent lack of elite homegrown talent remains an issue. They also fired their shots, perhaps a bit early, on their import selections. There are a lot of players on this team with chips on their shoulders.

Key Homegrown: Jakub Smutný
Key Import: Jaylon Henderson
Young Star: Adam Žouželka
Player with the most to prove: Miloš Ilić

4 - Frankfurt Galaxy
The Frankfurt Galaxy are in a weird position: they could be a real contender or crash out before they make the playoffs. They have many inexperienced Americans but very experienced Europeans. It is an odd dichotomy and one we haven't seen much of before over the last couple of seasons. They have big grades in some positions, like offensive tackle, and lower in Corner. It will be a fun team to watch.

Key Homegrown: Luca Jokiel
Key Import: Ethan Garbers
Young Star: Tyler Foster
Player with the most to prove: Ethan Garbers

3 - Paris Musketeers
Paris feels it should be their year to win the biggest title in Europe. But they are still dark horses; they have some exceptional homegrown players and a lot of speed all over the field. However, I feel there is a limit to this offensive line, and I am aware of the depth on defence. Del Rio rotates his team a lot; we need to see if he has the tools this season.
Homegrown Talent: A-
Imports: B+
Floor: 6-4
Ceiling: 8-2
Key Homegrown: Souleymane Karamoko
Key Import: Zachary Edwards
Young Star: Hugo Tekedam
Player with the most to prove: Aleksi Olavuo

2 - Nordic Storm
Nordic has all the talent; they can't afford to miss too much time. Toonga, Clark, Glenna, Myren, Ferreira and Beard all struggled with injuries, missed time or did not play in 2025. That's a lot of questions for them to answer already. The highs are championship-level, but if the worst-case scenario plays out, they could see a couple of upsets. Best defensive back room in the league, though.
Homegrown Talent: A
Imports: A
Floor: 7-3
Ceiling: 9-1
Key Homegrown: Victor Stoffel
Key Import: Jadrian Clark
Young Star: Ludvig Myrén
Player with the most to prove: Glen Toonga

1 - Munich Ravens
The Munich Ravens have it all: amazing homegrown talent, experienced, all-star-level imports, coaching staff, you name it, they have it. They are most people's number one team. Munich went 11-1 last season, and it feels like they only got better this offseason by signing key Germans, Geyer and Seelig being the money makers.
Homegrown Talent: A+
Imports: A
Floor: 8-2
Ceiling: 10-0
Key Homegrown: Louis Geyer
Key Import: Russell Tabor
Young Star: Justus Seelig
Player with the most to prove: Philip Okonkwo
